Greetings to all! Boone is approaching his 1 year Tripawd anniversary and I’m happy to report that he remains cancer free and is loving life as a tripawd. He is back up to his normal speed (might even be a little faster now!) and can strike the fear of god into any squirrel. He’s full of energy, can navigate stairs and hop into the back seat of the truck without assistance. We feel truly fortunate that he has beat the odds with Osteosarcoma, remains cancer free and is having a grand ol’ time as as tripawd. My heart goes out to anyone wrestling with the difficult decisions the come with OSA and amputation but hopefully Boone can provide some hope to others that the outcome can be magnificent.
