boones journey

Boone received the “green light” from the surgeon yesterday that he could resume all dog related activities and has been liberated from the cone of shame.  He has resumed his normal length walks around the neighborhood and has new found celebrity status. Over the weekend I’ll trot him down to Whole Foods and his favorite local brewery to reunite with old friends.  No word on the type of bone cancer yet and thus no decision on chemo either.   It’s great to see him getting back into the routine and off all the pills.

   Isn’t it a great feeling when they have passed that stage and continue onto the next adventure as a gosh dawg darn cute three legged canine!!!!
   Keep us posted with pictures.. we LOVE pictures of our pups and kitties who all grow on our hearts when they kick that cancer’s ass!!!

   That’s a wonerful update!! YAAAAAAY! Boone!

   Look at you looking so handsome and happy in your photos! Making me smile over here!

   You had one of the smoother recoveries and that’s uplifting for everyone! And no more stinkin’ cone!! YAAAAAAY!

   Yeah, I’m a Whole Foods fan too. I ave to buy all Happy Hannah’s organic free range chicken, organic free range cow, etc. first…and then if I have any money leftover, I buy “my” groceries!!:-) 🙂

   Keep on enjoying every single sacred secon! And, he’s still early in recovery andit still gets even better!! I’m sure with someone like Boone, you have to hold him back a touch for now so he doesn’t overuse his new muscles He just sounds like a “full steam ahead” kind of dog!!

   Yay Boone! Isn’t it great to hop all over the place and show those silly humans how life is good on 3 legs? You are definitely going to get more and more famous, I can feel it.
